Job Overview

We are seeking a Business Analyst to work within a hybrid environment, tasked with transforming intricate business demands into scalable digital solutions. The role heavily involves the use of SQL, Java, Springboot microservices, JavaScript, PL/SQL on MySQL, and AWS services to collaborate with diverse stakeholders in creating secure, reliable, and efficient applications aligned with organizational goals and user value.

Key Responsibilities

• Examine business processes and requirements to articulate precise functional and non-functional specifications that guide the creation of scalable solutions using SQL, Java, Springboot microservices, and AWS.
• Partner with product owners and business stakeholders to prioritize backlogs, refine user stories, and establish acceptance criteria to ensure delivery of tangible value per increment.
• Create comprehensive documentation including end-to-end process flows, data mappings, and system interaction diagrams illustrating integration of PL/SQL on MySQL, Java services, JavaScript front ends, and AWS components.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to convert requirements into technical tasks, clarify edge cases, and verify alignment of database logic and application code with expected behavior and performance.
• Conduct detailed data analysis using SQL and PL/SQL on MySQL to detect patterns, validate data integrity, support informed decision-making, and identify data-related risks or gaps.
• Assist in the design and review of Springboot microservices by defining interface contracts, payload formats, and error handling scenarios to enhance interoperability and maintainability.
• Work closely with quality engineering teams in defining testing strategies, developing user journey-based test scenarios, and confirming functional and data-related correctness.
• Organize and lead workshops and solution walkthroughs with cross-functional partners, presenting options, elucidating technical trade-offs in plain terms, and aligning on implementation plans.
• Leverage AWS services such as managed databases, messaging, and compute resources alongside architects to develop scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions.
• Prepare user-facing documentation, release notes, and training resources to facilitate prompt adoption of new features and decrease dependence on technical teams for regular operations.
• Monitor and analyze production issues collaboratively with support teams, identifying root causes within microservices, SQL logic, or JavaScript flows, and suggest backlog items to improve stability and user satisfaction.
• Embrace structured delivery and agile practices within a hybrid work setting, including sprint planning, progress tracking, and transparent communication with both on-site and remote participants.
• Drive continuous improvement by proposing data-driven enhancements, automation opportunities, and reusable solution patterns that bolster the company’s technological strategy and societal impact.

Required Qualifications

• Strong expertise in SQL and PL/SQL on MySQL with experience in query design, performance optimization, and handling complex datasets for analytical and transactional uses.
• Proven practical experience with Java and Springboot-based microservices, including designing RESTful interfaces, integration patterns, and applying secure and modular coding practices.
• Solid knowledge of JavaScript for UI interactions, validation logic, and backend integration in modern web applications.
• Experience with AWS cloud services related to hosting applications, storing data, and messaging, with understanding of shared responsibility and cost-effective design principles.
• Approximately six to nine years of experience as a business analyst or comparable positions in technology-focused environments, with a strong record of translating business objectives into actionable technical requirements.
• Excellent communication skills tailored to technical and business audiences, bolstered by clear documentation and collaborative problem-solving within hybrid work settings.
