BIM Coordinator

Role Overview

As a BIM Coordinator at Walls, you will be instrumental in implementing and managing Building Information Modelling processes across all stages of projects, from tender and preconstruction through to delivery and handover. Key Responsibilities

• Implement project standards, methods, and procedures aligned with ISO 19650 Part 1 & 2: 2018 requirements.
• Ensure client requirements from the Project Exchange Information Requirements are met to achieve timely and quality project milestones.
• Aggregate digital information from Task Teams, conduct clash detection, validate data, assess model health, and report to Design/Construction Leads and Task Teams on identified issues.
• Serve as the Project Information Manager and collaborate with the project team to fulfill project goals.
• Develop, implement, and maintain digital project plans, including the BIM Execution Plan, Asset Management Plan, TIDPs, and MIDP.
• Lead BIM coordination meetings involving all task teams.
• Prepare and follow a BIM Coordination Schedule based on the construction sequence for BIM Coordination workshops.
• Support the DPD team with internal audits and the introduction of new technologies.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a comparable role.
• Comprehensive expertise in ISO 19650 standards.
• Degree in Engineering or a Design-related discipline.
• Proficient in Navisworks and Revit; familiarity with other BIM software is advantageous.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
