About the Role
Join SSP Canada as a Baker working within Tim Hortons located inside Pearson International Airport, Mississauga, Ontario. This position offers an hourly wage of $22.06 and requires availability for full-time hours in an onsite airport environment. The role involves preparing a variety of baked goods including donuts, muffins, croissants, cookies, and bread while adhering to company quality standards. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, bake, and decorate a range of pastries as per company guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all baking equipment and supplies.
- Manage safe handling, proper storage, and rotation of all baking ingredients respecting safety regulations.
- Work efficiently and calmly during peak production periods to ensure timely product availability.
- Confirm that all food items are presented and served according to established standards.
- Conduct routine and specific cleaning duties using assigned cleaning products to maintain hygiene in the workspace.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum one year of experience in a food service environment is mandatory.
- High school diploma is preferred.
- Prior experience at Tim Hortons is considered an advantage.
- Ability to accurately follow recipes and maintain attention to detail for quality assurance.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English, essential for guest interaction and order management.
- Eligibility to obtain Transport Canada security clearance necessary due to airport security protocols.

This role requires working within a secured airport zone and possessing a Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC).
