Role Overview
We are seeking a talented Baker and Decorator who excels in baking precision and artistic hand-finishing of our range of cookies and skillets. This role demands hands-on craftsmanship within a dynamic production environment. If you value baking excellence paired with meticulous decoration, this opportunity is for you.
Main Responsibilities
- Prepare cookies, skillets, and seasonal items according to precise recipes and brand standards.
- Execute hand-finishing techniques including piping, drizzling, topping, and detailed decoration efficiently and consistently.
- Adhere strictly to recipes, specification sheets, and presentation guidelines.
- Monitor and manage baking times, temperatures, and quality across batches.
- Ensure your workstation remains clean, orderly, and compliant with food safety protocols.
- Conduct quality inspections to guarantee finished products meet standards prior to dispatch.
- Assist the production team during peak demand periods as needed.
Candidate Profile
- Previous baking experience in commercial bakeries, patisseries, cafés, or production settings, along with solid skills in decorating.
- Steady hand coordination and acute attention to detail with a strong sense of pride in presentation.
- Ability to maintain speed and accuracy within a high-volume workflow.
- Dependable and punctual team-oriented mindset.
- Willingness and physical stamina to stand for long periods in a busy kitchen environment.
- Food handling certification is advantageous; support to obtain this will be provided.
