Role Overview

The Associate Wholesale Planner for the Americas region plays a key role in supporting the Planning and Sales departments through detailed forecasting and analytical reporting focused on Wholesale business activities. This position is dedicated to identifying business risks and prospects to optimize profitability with partners and involves generating various reports on a regular and as-needed basis. Note: This role does not involve media planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee planning activities across accounts and departments, including 4 Department Store accounts and 34 Specialty/Franchise Store accounts throughout the Americas.
  • Develop and sustain weekly, monthly, and yearly sales and inventory reporting to maintain clear business visibility.
  • Create ad-hoc analytical tools and reports as needed to support evolving business demands for US Wholesale, eCommerce (retail and wholesale), and concessions operations in Canada and Mexico.
  • Prepare critical management reports such as the 3-Year Plan (3YP), Budget, and Revision 1 (R1) analyses.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to formulate On The Shelf (OTS) budgets by account and department, submitting all budgets through Anaplan for Wholesale accounts region-wide.
  • Support the sales team during market appointments by providing tailored reports to analyze assortment requirements and ensure budget adherence.
  • Monitor CO-OP spending budgets in cooperation with communications, press, accounting, and finance teams to validate expenditures against invoiced ads.
  • Administer Skypad CL data inputs, including seasonal style lists, markdowns, and price changes, and coordinate troubleshooting with the Skypad team.
  • Identify reorder opportunities proactively and collaborate with partners along with demand planning and sales teams to establish ongoing sales forecasts, including exit strategies.
  • Track invoice status daily, monthly, and year-to-date to confirm budget compliance, assisting with inventory flow and credit reviews alongside sales, logistics, and accounting teams.
  • Partner with finance to complete budget forecasts, revised budgets, and related presentations.
  • Build strong working relationships across internal departments—retail and demand planning, buying, merchandising, finance, accounting, logistics, eCommerce—and externally with account buying and planning teams and service providers such as Skypad and Euromonitor.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in planning or related retail fields.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including advanced Excel skills and strong retail math knowledge.
  • Robust analytical and quantitative abilities.
  • Effective multitasking capabilities with meticulous attention to detail and persistent follow-up.
