Role overview

Fingerprint is hiring an Associate Recruiter to help with hiring across business, G&A, and technical teams. The role is centered on reviewing incoming applicants and running first-round screening conversations, with a strong focus on using tools such as Gem to quickly surface and prioritize strong candidates. The right person will be comfortable using recruiting systems to work efficiently, reviewing resumes with judgment, and assessing fit across different job families during early phone screens.

What you'll do

• Evaluate incoming applications across open roles and decide which candidates should move forward based on thoughtful judgment.
• Use Gem and similar sourcing or recruiting tools to make the hiring process more efficient.
• Conduct recruiter-led phone screens to assess candidate fit across a variety of roles.
• Work with recruiters to understand role needs and independently run searches against those requirements.
• Support both technical and non-technical hiring searches, adjusting your evaluation approach to match the role and staying curious about new job types.

What we're looking for

The company is looking for someone with 1-3 years of recruiting experience, either in a staffing or agency environment such as TEKsystems, Robert Half, or Insight Global, or in an in-house talent role at a fast-moving startup. Strong hands-on experience with recruiting and sourcing tools is important, along with the ability to quickly sort through large volumes of inbound applicants and consistently identify promising candidates. Clear verbal and written communication skills are needed to run effective, role-specific phone screens, and the ideal hire will bring curiosity, flexibility, and adaptability.

Compensation can vary depending on relevant experience, education, certifications or licenses, skills, training, and market conditions.

Because of regulatory and security constraints, Fingerprint cannot have teammates based in a small number of countries. As an all-remote company, Fingerprint can hire from almost any country, but visa sponsorship is not provided. Candidates must already be authorized to work from their home location.
