About The Role

Become an integral part of The Sporting Globe, a dynamic sports bar renowned for its vibrant atmosphere combining great food, refreshing drinks, and a top-tier sports experience. We are searching for an Assistant Venue Manager who will act as the second-in-command, ensuring the venue remains lively, the team stays motivated, and every game day delivers an unforgettable experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide operational support during shifts, ensuring all venue areas function seamlessly.
• Inspire and motivate the team while fostering a positive, winning culture.
• Assist with inventory management, reporting, compliance, and other operational duties to maintain venue standards.
• Step in as acting Venue Manager when required, upholding best practices and maintaining high standards.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Minimum of two years experience in the hospitality sector, preferably within pubs, bars, or busy dining establishments.
• Certifications in Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA), Responsible Service of Gambling (RSG), and TAB basics.
• Strong enthusiasm for delivering outstanding guest experiences and cultivating an energetic venue atmosphere.
