Assistant Manager, Strategy (Pre-MBA Internship - Fixed Term)

Role Overview

This position is a Pre-MBA internship focused on Strategy, targeted at talented early-career professionals preparing for a leading MBA program. The role entails direct interaction with the CEO and covers two integrated responsibilities: strategic analytics and program management of CEO-priority projects. The appointment lasts between 12 to 24 months. Exceptional participants will receive comprehensive support for their MBA applications, including recommendation letters and access to an exclusive corporate network.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain dashboards and review reports that monitor crucial business indicators.
• Perform in-depth analysis of process metrics and conduct structured benchmarking and market sizing exercises.
• Lead program management efforts for significant cross-functional initiatives focused on growth, profitability, transformation, and enhancing customer experience.
• Establish project charters, set milestones, assign responsibilities, and enforce regular review meetings.
• Monitor progress, identify delays, and facilitate resolution of dependencies among various departments.

Candidate Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Commerce, Mathematics, or a closely related discipline is essential.
• Strong analytical abilities with an emphasis on first principles thinking and structured problem solving.
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated high ownership mindset and eagerness to learn.
• Possession of a valid GMAT or GRE score, which indicates a serious intention to pursue a top MBA after this engagement; applications lacking this will not be entertained.
