Architectural and Interior Design Drafter

Role overview

This position focuses on producing and coordinating technical drawings for architectural, interior design, civil, and structural work. The drafter will work with design concepts and convert them into accurate documentation for planning, tendering, construction, and project completion.

What you will do

• Carry out general drafting tasks, including detailed drawings for architectural, interior design, civil, structural, and related project requirements based on design drafts.
• Create drawing outputs using CAD and BIM Revit models for C&S deliverables.
• Build and refresh 3D BIM models for submission purposes.
• Prepare preliminary layouts and detailed drawings at the correct scale for planning approvals and construction use.
• Work closely with the project team and external parties on tender documents and construction drawing packages.
• Produce detailed drawings and specifications in line with client and consultant requirements.
• Develop as-built drawings for project handover and final submission to clients and consultants.

Requirements

• A diploma or degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field is required.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in design coordination is preferred, ideally across projects of varying size in the construction industry.
• Experience in the commercial and hospitality sectors is an advantage.
• Strong working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD is needed.
• Good planning ability to manage modelling and drafting tasks effectively.
• Comfortable handling multiple tasks in a busy, fast-moving environment.
