Architect and Interior Designer

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Architect with at least two years of professional experience to join our team. The successful applicant will manage comprehensive architectural responsibilities including design development, technical documentation, quantity estimation, and overseeing on-site project activities. This position involves steering projects from initial concept phases through to successful delivery on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Create architectural design concepts, develop proposals, and prepare presentation drawings tailored to project requirements.
• Produce detailed working and construction drawings along with technical documentation.
• Carry out quantity take-offs, cost assessments, and compile Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• Assess material specifications ensuring solutions are both cost-effective and technically robust.
• Collaborate effectively with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and clients to guarantee smooth project execution.
• Supervise construction activities on-site, confirming adherence to approved plans, specifications, and quality benchmarks.
• Track project progress against timelines and budgets, reporting any discrepancies as needed.
• Conduct thorough site inspections and resolve construction-related technical challenges.
• Ensure all activities comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture (B.Arch) from an accredited institution.
• At least two years of professional experience in architectural practice.
• Proven experience with cost estimation, BOQ preparation, and site supervision.
• Competency in using architectural software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other relevant platforms.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and detailing techniques.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
• Capacity to handle multiple assignments simultaneously and meet project deadlines.
