Role Overview and Responsibilities
As a vital member of Infosys' delivery team within the Quality Engineering service line, you will be responsible for designing, developing, validating, and supporting software programs to meet client expectations in the technology sector. Your duties include gathering detailed client requirements, translating them into precise system specifications, and assisting in project estimations by collaborating closely with Technology Leads and Project Managers. Your contributions will help clients advance their digital transformation journeys effectively.
Additional duties encompass understanding design principles, software architecture fundamentals, performance engineering, quality assurance processes, and estimation techniques. You will need to translate both functional and non-functional requirements into system requirements, design and code complex applications, develop comprehensive test cases and scenarios, and possess a solid grasp of SDLC and Agile methodologies. Staying current with emerging technologies and demonstrating strong logical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills are also essential.
Technical and Professional Qualifications
The role requires familiarity with core technologies such as Oracle eBS focusing on Global Human Resources (Core HR), and SAP CRM with a specialization in Field Sales. Expertise in API testing tools such as Postman and RestAssured is preferred. Candidates should have between 4 to 10 years of relevant experience.
