About the Role
Join JPMorgan Chase as an Analyst within the Equity Capital Markets (ECM) team, playing a vital role in our growth and transaction execution. You will be immersed throughout the entire transaction lifecycle, including preparing marketing materials, performing and reviewing financial analyses, delivering presentations to clients and internal teams, and managing daily transaction activities. This position offers extensive training, continuous mentoring, and ample development opportunities, contributing substantially to the firm's capital raise initiatives and market reputation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead execution of public capital raising transactions such as IPOs and follow-on offerings for issuer clients.
- Support senior bankers by preparing client engagement materials like pitches and Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
- Collaborate effectively with various internal groups including industry coverage teams, sales and trading, syndicate, equity research, and legal departments.
- Create insightful thought leadership on equity capital markets and the technology sector.
- Conduct detailed analyses for issuer clients covering precedent transactions and shareholder targeting.
- Prepare presentation decks and committee memoranda ahead of transaction launches.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline.
- At least one year of relevant experience in an investment banking front office or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in accounting, finance, quantitative analysis, and business communication.
- Solid understanding of capital markets and ECM execution processes.
- Excellent communication abilities with the confidence to engage senior professionals, clients, and key stakeholders.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team setting.
- Highly self-motivated and capable of managing multiple concurrent projects with independence and precision.
