Aircraft Technician

Overview

Vistas Global is looking for an experienced aircraft technical support professional to contribute to maintenance programmes, technical documentation, configuration control, and continuing airworthiness work. The role requires close adherence to aviation rules and the standards set by aircraft manufacturers.

Key Responsibilities

• Support aircraft maintenance programmes and continuing airworthiness activities from an engineering perspective.
• Draft, examine, update, and manage engineering documents, engineering orders, and technical logs/records.
• Assist with engineering change control and configuration management activities.
• Study aircraft manuals, Service Bulletins, Airworthiness Directives, and other technical publications to ensure proper implementation.
• Maintain compliance with EASA, ICAO, and manufacturer-specific technical requirements.
• Work with Maintenance, Planning, Quality, and Engineering functions to improve reliability and keep aircraft ready for operation.
• Contribute to engineering work in Systems, Avionics, or Cabin Engineering disciplines as needed.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Aeronautical, Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or another relevant field is required.
• Applicants should have 3 to 5 years of experience in Aircraft Technical Support, CAMO, or Aircraft Engineering Services.
• Practical exposure to Systems, Avionics, or Cabin Engineering in a commercial airline environment is needed.
• Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance programmes, engineering paperwork, and technical record control is expected.
• Working familiarity with EASA, ICAO, and aircraft manufacturer standards is necessary.
• Experience with the Airbus A320 Family or a similar commercial aircraft type is an added advantage.
• Good analytical ability, problem-solving skills, communication, and cross-functional teamwork are important.
