PAM Health’s Jupiter rehabilitation hospital serves patients who need prolonged care for serious chronic and critical conditions. Work schedule
This is a full-time, on-site position. Evening shifts are required, and the schedule also includes weekends.
Core duties
The admissions coordinator supports the facility’s admissions office and helps keep the referral-to-admission workflow running smoothly. The position handles referral intake, verification, pre-certification, and the admissions process, and also steps in for the Admissions Manager when needed. Additional duties may be assigned as required.
Education and experience
A high school diploma or an equivalent credential is required. Business school or technical school training is preferred. The role requires familiarity with medical terminology and the insurance verification process. At least 1 year of experience in a medical office or healthcare registration role is necessary.
