About the Role

Our client, a distinguished Gems & Jewellery Manufacturing Company located in South Delhi, urgently seeks a skilled Accountant to join their finance team immediately. This opportunity offers a monthly salary between ₹30,000 and ₹40,000, commensurate with experience and expertise.

Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day financial accounts using Tally software.
• Prepare and submit GST returns in a timely manner.
• Handle TDS calculations, deductions, and file the associated returns.
• Support Income Tax Return (ITR) preparation and ensure compliance.
• Manage online banking transactions and facilitate payments to vendors.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and keep accurate financial records.
• Liaise with auditors to ensure all statutory requirements are met.
• Maintain precise accounting documentation and generate relevant reports.

Requirements

• Proficient knowledge of Tally ERP, with experience in Ornate Software considered a strong advantage.
• Comprehensive understanding of GST, TDS, ITR, and fundamental accounting principles.
• Familiarity with online banking and payment platforms.
• Strong computer skills, including advanced use of MS Excel.
• Educational qualification: B.Com, M.Com, or an equivalent degree.
• Experience: 3 to 6 years in accounting, preferably within the Gems & Jewellery Manufacturing sector.
