Accountant Executive DEO

About the Role

Basik Innovation LLP seeks a meticulous and proactive Account Assistant/Executive to manage daily accounting tasks and financial operations. The selected individual will maintain precise financial records, contribute to compliance efforts, and facilitate smooth operations within the accounts team.

Key Responsibilities

• Update and manage daily accounting entries using Tally/ERP or similar software
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoicing and follow-up on payments
• Assist in bank reconciliations and manage petty cash
• Support statutory compliance for GST, TDS, and other filings
• Prepare vouchers, ledgers, and various financial reports as needed
• Coordinate billing and payment-related queries with vendors, clients, and internal departments
• Participate in month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Maintain organized financial documentation and records
• Provide data and reports during audit processes
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry with attention to detail

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (B.Com or M.Com preferred)
• Between 1 and 3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles; freshers with strong fundamentals are encouraged to apply
• Proficient in using Tally ERP, MS Excel, and basic accounting concepts
• Knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance is advantageous
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy
• Effective communication and coordination skills
• Capability to handle multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines

Preferred Skills

• Experience with GST return filing and account reconciliation
• Familiarity with MS Office, notably advanced Excel functions like VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables
• Basic understanding of financial statement preparation
