Accountant

Job Overview

An experienced Accountant is required to manage and oversee all financial transactions for AJ Design and Retail, specializing in retail gold, diamond, and jewellery. The role involves maintaining accurate records of daily sales, purchases, payments, receipts, and journal entries, while ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain thorough records of daily sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
• Keep updated customer and vendor ledgers.
• Perform regular reconciliation of cash, bank, and petty cash accounts.
• Oversee GST billing processes, including E-Invoicing and E-Way Bills management.
• Prepare necessary data for GST returns, TDS, and other regulatory filings.
• Maintain and verify purchase orders, supplier invoices, and payment documentation.
• Monitor and track outstanding payments from customers and dues payable to vendors.
• Record and authenticate transactions involving gold, diamond, and jewellery purchases.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly management information system (MIS) reports.
• Act as liaison with the Chartered Accountant for audits and compliance matters.
• Ensure organized documentation and secure filing of all financial records.
• Track business expenditures and compile detailed expense reports.
• Support management by preparing profit and loss statements and conducting financial analyses.

Compensation

The role offers a monthly remuneration range of 15,000 to 20,000 Indian Rupees.
