This internship offers a unique chance to contribute to India’s burgeoning sports movement by engaging with the pickleball community and managing operations.
Internship Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the pickleball court ensuring smooth functioning.
- Provide welcoming and effective assistance to players, ensuring superior customer satisfaction.
- Foster a vibrant pickleball community through organizing events, mixers, and competitive leagues.
- Manage court reservations and promptly address player inquiries.
- Maintain high standards for court facilities, equipment, and the venue environment.
- Create engaging photos and videos to promote community engagement on social media channels.
- Coordinate effectively with coaches, staff members, and management to streamline daily workflows.
- Identify and implement strategies to boost player participation and encourage repeat visits.
Candidate Eligibility and Requirements
- Applicants must be available for a full-time, in-office internship for a duration of three months, starting between August 5, 2026, and September 9, 2026.
- Strong communication abilities and interpersonal skills are essential.
- A friendly, proactive, and customer-centric approach is required.
- Interest in sports, fitness, and community culture is a plus.
- Familiarity with WhatsApp, Google Sheets, and booking management platforms is expected.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, aligned with court operation times.
- Previous experience in event management, hospitality, sports, or customer service will be advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits
- Monthly stipend ranging from ₹8,500 to ₹15,000, composed of a fixed pay (₹7,500 to ₹10,000) plus performance incentives (₹1,000 to ₹5,000).
- Certificate of internship completion and letter of recommendation upon successful completion.
