The organisation engages with youth via secondary schools, youth groups, universities, and national youth bodies, delivering unique, in-person workshops led by experienced, relatable facilitators committed to building resilience, confidence, and empowerment.

Role Overview

We are looking to add passionate and vibrant Facilitators to our Programme Delivery Team who will lead impactful, character-building workshops nationwide. These roles, available both full-time and part-time, require delivering in-person workshops across Ireland. Facilitators play an essential role not only in workshop delivery but also in program development, training, and enhancing Soar's influence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Soar workshops and programmes in schools and community venues, consistently upholding high quality standards.
• Design and deliver captivating learning sessions aligned with Soar’s mission, values, and facilitation criteria.
• Foster environments that are safe, inclusive, and supportive where young participants feel encouraged to engage fully.
• Maintain professional representation of Soar and nurture constructive relationships with educators, youth organizations, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure smooth communication and coordination to facilitate successful program rollouts.
• Assist in developing, reviewing, and enhancing workshop content and programme materials.
• Share feedback and insights from sessions to promote ongoing programme innovation and quality enhancement.
• Promote a culture of reflection, learning, and continuous improvement within the team.
• Engage in Soar’s training initiatives aimed at personal and professional advancement.
• Strictly observe all policies concerning Child Protection, safeguarding, confidentiality, and accurate record keeping.
• Complete administrative duties and reporting punctually and accurately.
• Participate regularly in supervision, performance evaluations, and coaching.

Required Experience and Skills

• At least two years' experience leading and facilitating group workshops, ideally with youth populations.
• Willingness and ability to travel across Ireland to deliver in-person school workshops.
• Excellent organisational abilities, effective communication skills, and strong time management.

Preferred Qualifications

• A tertiary degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related fields is preferred.
