Yardsperson / Loader Operator

Position Overview

We are looking to welcome a dedicated Yardsperson/Loader Operator to join our busy concrete plant team at the Toowoomba location.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain machinery, including assistance with batch and water treatment plant upkeep.
• Manage loading and unloading of deliveries efficiently.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper care of equipment.
• Progress towards skill certification and competency in Loader Operations.

Candidate Qualifications

• Possession of a C Class driver's license is essential; HR license preferred.
• White or Blue Construction Card is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently with proactive initiative.
• Capacity to perform physically demanding tasks while adhering strictly to safety protocols.
• Must successfully complete all pre-employment screenings including drug and alcohol testing, medical examination, police background check, and provide two professional references.

Work Schedule and Compensation

• Competitive hourly wage with options for overtime.
• Workweek from Monday to Friday, occasional Saturdays requiring early start times.
