Web Developer (Fresher / Experienced)

About the Role

Hola World is seeking enthusiastic Web Developers, welcoming both freshers and those with experience, to join our team in Kottayam, Kerala. Candidates will work on web applications and sites, utilizing modern technologies and CMS platforms while embracing AI-assisted development tools to boost productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications and webpages using React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Create, update, and manage websites with CMS platforms like Strapi, WordPress, Webflow, or similar.
• Handle ongoing website maintenance tasks including content updates, bug fixes, performance tuning, and security enhancements.
• Support CRM systems through upkeep, data handling, workflow modifications, and troubleshooting.
• Conduct thorough testing of websites for functionality, responsiveness, browser compatibility, and usability.
• Identify, debug, and resolve issues related to front-end and CMS platforms.
• Employ AI-driven development tools such as ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, Windsurf, or equivalents to enhance coding efficiency without compromising code quality.
• Collaborate effectively with designers, developers, and project managers to deliver superior web solutions.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and adhere to industry-standard development practices.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• Fundamental to intermediate understanding of React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.
• Experience or familiarity with headless CMS systems like Strapi or conventional ones like WordPress and Webflow.
• Knowledge of website testing methodologies, debugging techniques, and quality assurance processes.
• Basic skills in website and CRM upkeep.
• Proficient written and oral communication skills in English.
• Exposure to AI-assisted coding tools is advantageous.
• Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn.

Preferred Background

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT, or related subjects.
• Experience through internships, academic projects, freelance work, or a portfolio on GitHub demonstrating web development capability.
• Knowledge of Git/GitHub, RESTful APIs, and contemporary front-end development approaches is a plus.
