Role Overview
This role involves comprehensive involvement in creating content, predominantly capturing the podcast episodes alongside vlogs, behind-the-scenes footage, short-form social content, and photography. You will manage the filming process end-to-end, procure and maintain all equipment, and oversee the physical studio space based in New York, with occasional travel for location shoots.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the filming sessions to ensure outstanding show production quality.
- Manage all gear including cameras, lenses, lighting, microphones, and studio setup, building and maintaining the environment from scratch.
- Document dynamic moments around the show such as walk-and-talks, guest arrivals, and behind-the-scenes activity, acting as an observant storyteller through visual media.
- Perform selective edits for special projects like sizzle reels or vlogs, while long-form editing is handled by dedicated editors.
- Develop and manage a supporting team as the project grows.
Candidate Profile
- Core passion for videography with a desire to be actively filming daily.
- Experience in content creation for individuals such as creators, YouTubers, or podcasters.
- Highly resourceful and solution-oriented when faced with logistical challenges.
- Deeply passionate and fully committed, with an entrepreneurial mindset focused solely on this venture.
- Interest or experience related to business environments; understanding the business world’s dynamics is valued.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual salary ranging from $120,000 to $180,000 plus performance bonuses, initially on a contract basis.
