About Hyprwork & Role Context
Hyprwork is an expanding operator of direct-to-consumer brands focusing on health and wellness. This opportunity supports the personal branding efforts of Zainab Mounabbah, the Founder and CMO of Hyprwork and a Forbes 30 Under 30 recipient. Her content includes daily lifestyle clips, talking-head videos, and podcast-style recordings, all created with high-quality production.
Primary Responsibilities
- Operate the camera as the solo videographer capturing lifestyle vlogs, daily routines, talking-head interviews, and podcast content.
- Take charge of comprehensive post-production tasks such as editing, color correction, sound enhancement, captioning, and integration of motion graphics or lower thirds.
- Deliver fully produced long-form videos alongside short-form vertical clips optimized for platforms like Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
- Collaborate on light scripting and content structuring to enhance the footage based on Zainab’s daily activities rather than strictly filming without input.
- Prepare equipment and manage shooting logistics, including rental procedures as necessary.
- Adapt to a flexible, sometimes irregular filming schedule driven by real-time demands without dependence on a fixed production calendar.
- Maintain organized asset management with quick turnaround times for both raw and final materials.
Candidate Requirements
- Must reside in Canada and be able to film in person without need for relocation or visa sponsorship.
- Possess hands-on experience with videography including camera operations such as framing, lighting, and solo shooting independent of a crew.
- Demonstrate professional-level video editing proficiency using tools like Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.
- Have direct experience producing lifestyle, daily routine, talking-head, or podcast videos—not limited to entertainment, gaming, or brand campaign content.
- Comfortable working with a non-fixed, flexible shooting schedule based on the founder’s day-to-day availability.
- Strong instinct for compelling personal brand content emphasizing authentic pacing and viewer engagement.
- Willing to contribute to content planning and structuring beyond mere footage capture and editing.
- Self-sufficient, dependable, and capable of working closely with senior leadership with minimal supervision.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Experience collaborating with founders, creators, or public figures on personal brand content.
- Openness to occasional travel later in the engagement; no travel required during initial trial period.
- Awareness of best practices for short-form social media platforms including TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
- Background or interest in health, wellness, or related DTC-adjacent content preferred.
Compensation and Engagement Details
- This is a part-time freelance contractor role with direct involvement with a Forbes 30 Under 30 founder.
- The initial phase is a trial period intended to evaluate fit, with possibilities for a larger, ongoing collaboration.
- Individuals will have creative latitude in crafting personal brand content formats from inception.
- Compensation will be paid in USD through Wise or another preferred wallet method.
