Vice President, Private Equity

About the Role

Our client is a pan-European mid-market private equity fund headquartered in London focused on investments in tech-enabled businesses across diverse industries. They are exclusively seeking a Vice President to join their London team, providing an opportunity to play a strategic role in deal execution, portfolio oversight, and deal sourcing.

Responsibilities

• Participate actively in the end-to-end execution of investment transactions.
• Conduct thorough portfolio company management to support value creation post-investment.
• Engage in identifying and originating attractive investment prospects aligned with the fund's strategy.

Candidate Profile

• At least six years of relevant experience combining backgrounds such as investment banking or consulting with growth equity or private equity roles.
• Proven capabilities in investment decision-making, excellent quantitative and qualitative due diligence, and adept financial modeling skills.
• Strong interest or experience in sectors relevant to the firm's portfolio.
• Exceptional academic records: Bachelor’s degree with a 1st or 2.1 classification from a leading university or equivalent international qualification.
• Fluency in European languages is advantageous but not mandatory.
• An entrepreneurial mindset with high resourcefulness and independence.
• Motivated by intellectual curiosity, business acumen, and a desire for continuous personal growth.
