Role Overview

The Vice President of Operations will function in a full-time remote capacity, taking charge of comprehensive operational effectiveness across the company's financial services division. Responsibilities include managing daily functions in stock broking, fundraising, portfolio oversight, and investment consultancy to guarantee streamlined processes, adherence to regulations, and superior customer support. The role encompasses the creation and execution of operational strategies, process enhancements, financial management including budget and profit and loss oversight, and collaboration on cross-departmental initiatives designed to foster expansion.

Working in close conjunction with senior executives, this position will establish performance goals, evaluate key performance indicators, curb operational risks, and spearhead ongoing enhancements. It will also entail mentoring operational teams, instituting industry best practices, and driving initiatives involving digital transformation and automation to improve client interactions.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Proficient in Operations Management and Project Management to lead integrated, complex service operations and implement improvements.
• Experienced in Profit and Loss (P&L) oversight and financial monitoring to facilitate budgeting, forecasting, and expense control.
• Skilled in Strategic Planning to synchronize operational activities with corporate goals, expansion plans, and regulatory compliance.
• Customer-service focused with strong capabilities in maintaining service standards, client satisfaction, and resolving issues effectively.
• Additional experience in financial services or capital market sectors, knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks, and leadership of geographically dispersed or remote teams is beneficial.
• Preferably holds a bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a similar discipline. Advanced degrees such as an MBA and professional certifications add value.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills enabling data-driven decision-making and productive collaboration with executive leadership.
