Vice President of Data & Analytics

Overview

An esteemed Fortune 500 company operating in the healthcare distribution sector is looking for a Vice President of Data & Analytics to lead the design and execution of their enterprise-wide data strategies. This role is highly visible and strategic, focused on advancing data capabilities and fostering a data-centric culture throughout a complex and global organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive Data & Analytics strategy aligned with the organization’s business goals.
• Build and grow high-performing teams specializing in Data, Analytics, Business Intelligence, and Reporting.
• Modernize and enhance enterprise data platforms, analytics infrastructure, and reporting tools.
• Set standards for data governance, key performance indicators, and data quality across the enterprise.
• Collaborate with Technology, Product, Operations, Commercial, and Executive Leadership to deliver impactful data solutions.
• Lead analytics projects aimed at improving operational efficiency, supply chain management, commercial results, and customer insights.
• Create executive dashboards and reporting frameworks to inform strategic decision-making.
• Promote a culture of data-driven decision-making throughout the business.
• Develop and execute a multi-year analytics roadmap incorporating AI, advanced analytics, and enterprise decision-making intelligence.
• Mentor senior analytics leaders and establish best practices and functional operating models.

Qualifications

• Executive leadership experience overseeing Data & Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Enterprise Data teams.
• Demonstrated success building and scaling analytics organizations within large enterprises.
• Deep knowledge in crafting enterprise analytics strategies and managing data operating models.
• Expertise modernizing cloud-based data infrastructure and enterprise reporting solutions.
• Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, performance measurement, and executive KPI reporting.
• Outstanding stakeholder management abilities with influence over senior leadership.
• Track record of driving tangible business improvements via data-driven strategies.
• Experience leading enterprise-wide transformation projects spanning diverse functions.
• Industry experience in healthcare, distribution, supply chain, or regulated sectors is advantageous but not mandatory.

Technology Environment

The role involves working with AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, Python, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Enterprise Data Warehousing, Machine Learning, Predictive Analytics, Data Governance tools, ETL/ELT processes, Data Lakes, Executive KPI Frameworks, Cloud Analytics platforms, AI, and advanced analytics technologies.

Additional Information

This offering is a pivotal executive leadership position within one of North America’s largest healthcare distributors. The position operates fully remotely, with occasional travel required for executive meetings at corporate offices. The compensation package includes a base salary up to $400,000, supplemented by executive benefits and bonuses.
