Overview
The Vice President of Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) at AHF is responsible for leading the company-wide financial planning, analysis, and reporting efforts. This leadership role focuses on forecasting, financial performance consolidation, data intelligence, and advanced strategic analytics. The position supports enterprise growth and profitability by providing insightful analysis and recommendations to enhance value, monitor market and cost factors, and guide investment decisions. Additionally, the VP manages the OneStream system administration and drives its technological advancements, including governance, workflow design, and user support. The role is deeply involved in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), integration planning, financing models, and return on investment (ROI) analyses.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain rolling financial forecasts encompassing income statements, balance sheets, and cash flows within a three-statement model, including a five-year outlook aligned with operations, financing, M&A, and enterprise value objectives.
- Oversee coordination and consolidation of the company’s strategic plans, annual operating plans, and forecasting cycles within the OneStream platform.
- Lead corporate planning and forecasting for SG&A expenses, offering stakeholders comprehensive visibility into costs, headcount trends, and expenditures.
- Collaborate with operations, sales, finance, and accounting teams to analyze data and support decisions related to ROI, cost leak detection, investment evaluations, and organizational cost structure optimization.
- Assist accounting teams with variance analyses comparing actuals to plans, forecasts, and prior periods.
- Develop, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics.
- Analyze revenue streams, customer segments, profitability, product mixes, and pricing trends for business insights.
- Manage customer analytics including cohort studies, attribute analyses, and cost-to-serve evaluations.
- Administer OneStream system governance, metadata updates, workflow management, consolidation logic support, dashboard enhancements, and user assistance as the primary FP&A owner.
- Benchmark company performance relative to industry peers to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare materials for board presentations and investor communications.
- Support the M&A pipeline with financial modeling, due diligence coordination, post-acquisition integration, and performance tracking.
- Construct business cases supporting investments and strategic decision-making.
- Effectively communicate analytical findings, insights, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline; MBA is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in FP&A, consulting, private equity, investment banking, or similar finance roles.
- Experience in managing personnel is an advantage.
- Proficient in financial analysis, advanced modeling, and problem-solving techniques.
- Strong collaborator capable of working effectively with leadership and managers across functions.
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools and finance systems, with a strong preference for OneStream or Hyperion Financial Management expertise.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Exceptional communication skills suitable for all organizational levels, including executives.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines and priorities efficiently.
- Experience with ERP, CRM, and performance management software.
- Highly analytical mindset with business acumen and intellectual curiosity.
- Practical or significant exposure to merger and acquisition processes is required.
Physical & Environmental Conditions
- Capability to push, pull, carry, or lift items weighing between 20 to 50 pounds.
- Requirement to perform physical movements such as walking, stretching, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, grasping, and repetitive tasks.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English, including talking, hearing, reading, and writing.
- Work will occur in non-temperature-controlled environments.
- Occasional travel may be necessary.
