Role Overview
The Urgent Care Coordinator plays a vital role in managing the smooth operation of multiple urgent care centres. This dynamic position demands the ability to handle high-pressure situations, anticipate challenges months ahead, and remain solution-driven without leaving issues unresolved. Serving as the central coordination hub, the coordinator ensures appropriate clinician deployment, resource allocation, and timely resolutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Organise and coordinate clinical workforce needs across several centres.
- Rapidly address workforce shortages and operational obstacles.
- Develop and maintain strong connections with doctors, nurses, and leadership.
- Detect emerging trends and risks, proactively applying solutions to prevent escalation.
