UK Payroll Subject Matter Expert

Role Overview

We are seeking a UK Payroll Subject Matter Expert with extensive expertise in the complete spectrum of UK payroll processes. The ideal candidate will have over a decade of hands-on experience, particularly with key year start and year end activities, as well as managing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and User Verification Testing (UVT) events. This role also requires a strong ability to mentor and guide offshore teams to ensure smooth payroll operations and statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end payroll management expertise covering all UK payroll functions.
• Oversee and execute UK Year Start and Year End payroll tasks effectively.
• Lead and manage UAT and UVT events related to payroll processes.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to offshore payroll teams to enhance productivity and accuracy.
• Ensure full adherence to statutory payroll compliance within the UK framework.
• Collaborate effectively with distributed and offshore teams to coordinate payroll activities.

Candidate Qualifications

• A minimum of 10 years of comprehensive UK payroll experience as a subject matter expert.
• In-depth knowledge of statutory compliance requirements related to UK payroll.
• Proven capability in guiding offshore teams and managing distributed workforce engagements.
