Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Ubuntu User to join our AI data training projects in a fully remote contract position. This role involves performing structured and detail-oriented tasks that contribute to enhancing AI models used worldwide. The candidate will work hourly, employing a personal Ubuntu/Linux computer to install necessary applications and document processes.
Role Responsibilities
- Adhere strictly to detailed written instructions and guidelines.
- Install and operate required software on Ubuntu/Linux systems.
- Ensure accuracy by reviewing work meticulously prior to submission.
- Identify and report any ambiguities, technical issues, or inconsistencies in instructions.
- Maintain concentration and patience during tasks that may be repetitive or detail-intensive.
- Fulfill assigned tasks within the allocated weekly hours.
- Maintain clear and proactive communication with team members when assistance is needed.
- Assist in improving the quality of training data for AI models.
Candidate Profile
- Owns a personal computer with Ubuntu/Linux operating system.
- Comfortable independently installing apps and project-specific tools.
- Tech-savvy with ability to follow setup instructions accurately.
- Available to commit around 15 hours weekly.
- Possesses patience, focus, and keen attention to detail.
- Capable of following written instructions precisely and consistently.
- Comfortable executing structured and occasionally repetitive tasks.
- Basic computer literacy and confident using web-based tools.
- Reliable, prompt, and meets task deadlines efficiently.
- Open to students, junior candidates, and those new to AI data-related roles.
- Prior experience in AI data training, data annotation, quality assurance, software testing, or research is a plus but not mandatory.
