About the Role
Join Steel & Tube Holdings Ltd as a Class 4 Truck Driver with Hiab expertise, delivering steel roofing products across the Wellington region. Representing a key NZX listed company, this role offers the chance to be part of a dynamic and supportive team that places safety and customer service foremost.
Primary Responsibilities
- Operate trucks with Class 4 or 5 licenses safely, including truck-mounted crane (Hiab) operations.
- Ensure careful handling, loading, and unloading of steel and reinforcing products.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety programs, prioritizing a safe work environment without compromise.
- Deliver excellent customer service while representing Steel & Tube to clients.
- Maintain a clean driving record and comply with all company policies related to safety and compliance.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess a full Class 4 or 5 driver's license.
- Proven experience operating truck-mounted cranes (Hiab) is essential.
- Familiarity with steel and reinforcing materials handling preferred.
- Demonstrate safe and competent driving and loading/unloading capabilities.
- Pass pre-employment screening including drug & alcohol tests, criminal, and ACC history checks.
- Exhibit a cooperative team-player attitude and willingness to learn with a proactive mindset.

- Work schedule from Monday to Friday with guaranteed minimum 40 hours per week and being home each night.
