Travel Specialist

About the Role

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a Travel Specialist skilled in fare filing and distribution. The position requires expertise in entering and updating fare information within the ATPCO system and performing quality assurance across global distribution platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage fare filing and updating processes in the ATPCO system using provided data.
• Handle rule conditions updates such as Eligibility, Date/Time, Seasonality, Flight Application, Combinations, Advance Purchase, Negotiated Fares, Surcharge, Blackout periods, Automated Changes and Cancellations, Fare By Rule, Footnotes, and Routing Maps within ATPCO.
• Conduct specialized fare filing activities including YQ/YR charges, Optional and Ancillary services, Branded Fares, and Chart 1 & 2 data.
• Perform quality assurance validations using Global Distribution Systems (GDS) like Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre.
• Be proficient in fare pricing entries and troubleshooting within GDS platforms such as Amadeus, Galileo, and Sabre.
• Possess good understanding of world geography and fare construction principles.
• Verify accuracy, completeness, and consistency of fares and rules data.
• Detect inconsistencies between ATPCO data and GDS systems.
• Maintain awareness of current industry developments and changes to ATPCO processes.

Qualifications & Other Information

• Experience required: 1 to 6 years in relevant field.
• Educational requirement: Minimum 15 years of formal education (10+2+3).
• Work schedule includes a 24x7 shift pattern.
