An opening is available for a highly organized Transport Scheduler at Metroll's Perth facility. This crucial position involves managing the daily logistics of transport to ensure customer deliveries occur promptly and efficiently.

The role entails close collaboration with production teams, warehouse staff, and drivers to effectively manage delivery timelines while upholding excellent customer service and operational productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate daily transport schedules for both local and regional deliveries
• Manage driver assignments and optimize load allocations
• Communicate delivery schedules and updates to customers and internal departments
• Track delivery progress and promptly address any schedule adjustments or delays
• Collaborate with warehouse and production teams to confirm orders are dispatch-ready
• Maintain precise records pertaining to deliveries, routes, and transport documentation
• Adhere to safety standards, fatigue management policies, and transportation regulations

Required Skills and Experience

• Demonstrated experience in transport scheduling, logistics coordination, or dispatch operations
