Traffic Manager

About the Company and Role

IC Ictas Construction, an internationally esteemed firm with a legacy exceeding 50 years, specializes in delivering large-scale infrastructure projects globally. We are recruiting a skilled Traffic Manager to contribute to our forthcoming highway project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute comprehensive traffic management plans applicable to the project's scope
• Develop temporary traffic solutions, including diversions, signage, and safety protocols
• Maintain safe and consistent traffic flow within the construction area and its vicinity
• Liaise effectively with local government bodies and relevant stakeholders
• Identify and manage traffic-related hazards proactively with appropriate mitigation strategies
• Ensure all traffic management operations correspond with the project's timeline and financial constraints
• Oversee subcontractors and on-site teams to ensure adherence to traffic management standards
• Compile and submit daily and weekly reports detailing traffic management activities

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or an equivalent discipline
• At least 10 years of experience managing traffic in highway, infrastructure, or major construction projects
• Prior involvement in international projects, ideally within the Gulf region
• In-depth understanding of traffic control systems, road safety guidelines, and signage norms
• Comprehensive knowledge of local traffic legislation and regulatory requirements
• Documented experience in team leadership and on-site coordination
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
• Fluency in English language
• Eligibility to work overseas without restrictions
