Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated Traffic Management Scoping Officer to join our Client Services team based in Geelong. This role involves assisting with traffic management planning and operational execution by preparing detailed and compliant job scopes that enhance operational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate job specifications, site environments, and potential risks to establish feasible and regulation-compliant traffic control strategies.
• Produce, distribute, and document comprehensive and precise job scopes utilizing approved company tools to ensure clarity and accountability in decisions and assignments.
• Confirm that all job scopes comply with necessary standards and escalate any complex or unusual assignments for further review.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to create compliant and efficient job scopes that facilitate operational success.

Required Skills and Experience

• At least two years of experience as a Traffic Management Implementer (Category 1 & 2), with Category 3 and customer service experience considered a plus.
• In-depth understanding of AusRoads guidelines, Traffic Guidance Schemes, and relevant permitting processes.
• Capability to analyze work plans and design pragmatic traffic control solutions, supported by strong communication and risk assessment skills.
• High precision in data entry and proficient use of systems such as Traffio and Microsoft Office.
• A safety-first mindset, strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize tasks effectively, and comfort working both independently and as part of a team.
