About the Role
This is an opportunity to join a leading strategy and communications firm as a Tender Officer within the Tenders Management team. The position supports multiple projects at different stages of the procurement lifecycle and plays an important part in securing tender opportunities in Saudi Arabia and abroad.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor government procurement platforms to spot relevant bidding opportunities.
- Work with internal stakeholders to develop and submit strong proposal responses.
- Handle tender files and make sure submissions meet procurement rules and requirements.
- Support government relations and tender processes with a focus on efficiency and compliance.
- Build productive relationships with client procurement teams, suppliers, and service providers to support collaboration and influence outcomes.
- Manage portals in Saudi Arabia and other markets, including supplier registration, opportunity tracking, and tender submission.
- Contribute to commercial success by helping manage proposals, tenders, and contracts linked to government relations and procurement work.
- Assist business development by identifying tender opportunities on government portals and sharing them with the wider team.
Essential Skills and Attributes
Success in this role requires strong analytical thinking, excellent business communication in both Arabic and English, and the ability to organise and manage projects effectively, particularly during tender preparation and submission. The role also calls for confidence with PowerPoint and Excel.
The ideal candidate will show leadership, strong interpersonal skills, a proactive and solution-focused mindset, close attention to detail, resilience under pressure, willingness to keep learning, and the ability to work well in a team.
Preferred Experience
Previous exposure to the Etimad portal is preferred, along with experience using government tender portals in the Middle East. Backgrounds in procurement or in licensing and regulatory compliance are also considered valuable.
