About the Role
An established international leader in analytical instrumentation is seeking a Technical Sales Specialist to expand its footprint across Ireland and Northern Ireland. This role offers the chance to be an integral part of a reputable company, responsible for generating new business, nurturing existing accounts, and amplifying market presence throughout the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new sales prospects throughout Ireland and Northern Ireland.
- Increase sales volumes of scientific instruments and related services.
- Manage the complete sales process from initial lead identification through to final order completion.
- Establish and sustain robust relationships with clients and important stakeholders.
- Deliver persuasive technical and commercial presentations to potential customers.
- Collaborate closely with application specialists and support teams to craft tailored customer solutions.
- Create sales forecasts, maintain pipeline reports, and draft comprehensive business plans.
- Monitor industry trends and pinpoint market growth opportunities within Ireland.
Qualifications and Experience
- Prior experience in technical sales or selling scientific instrumentation is essential.
- Degree in science, engineering, or comparable fields, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong awareness of commercial principles and consultative selling abilities.
- Capable of conveying complex technical details effectively to diverse customers.
- Proven success record in acquiring new customers and expanding existing accounts.
- Highly self-directed with the capacity to operate independently across the Irish territory.
