Technical Recruiter, North America Internship Team

Role Overview

Tesla is seeking a driven Technical Recruiter to enhance the hiring process for its Internship teams, specifically for departments such as Vehicle Software, IT/Infrastructure, and Sales, Service, and Delivery. This position focuses on managing relationships with managers and senior managers, contributing to the development of the campus brand and the storytelling approach for recruitment campaigns. The role involves collaborating with leadership to secure resources necessary for advancing the internship hiring program.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage a large number of job requisitions while ensuring excellent experiences for clients and candidates.
• Gain an in-depth understanding of business needs to build enduring talent pipelines aligned with hiring demands.
• Work closely with the full-time recruiting team to streamline the transition of high-performing interns into permanent roles.
• Maintain strong, transparent communication with clients and candidates to build solid relationships.
• Create outstanding onboarding and interview experiences for new candidates.
• Design and implement campus recruitment strategies across North America.

Candidate Requirements

• At least two years of experience recruiting technical roles in engineering, software, or hardware fields.
• Preferred background in recruiting interns or early career engineering talent.
• Proven track record of handling high-volume recruitment pipelines without sacrificing quality.
• Proactive and organized, able to multitask effectively.
• Experienced in sourcing and interviewing candidates through multiple recruiting channels.
• Availability to travel within North America and potentially internationally for campus events and recruitment efforts.
