Technical Business Analyst - 6 Month Fixed Term Contract

About the Role

We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst for a six-month fixed term contract based onsite in Christchurch, Canterbury, New Zealand. This role involves collaborating closely with multiple stakeholder groups in a team-oriented environment focused on implementing asset management processes and systems across various asset portfolios. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in an important business transformation project, driving system and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and document detailed business and user requirements to support system implementation.
• Engage with business stakeholders to aid in process and system deployment activities.
• Participate in user engagement efforts, including testing, training, and managing change processes.
• Support data-related functions such as analysis, data migration, and reporting as required.
• Work collaboratively with operational and finance teams to ensure successful project deliverables.

Candidate Profile and Skills

• Demonstrated experience as a Technical Business Analyst involved in system implementation or transformation initiatives.
• Strong skills in requirements gathering, business analysis, and stakeholder communication.
• Proven ability to assist with testing, training, and implementation phases.
• Experience or exposure in data analysis, migration, or reporting tasks.
• Knowledge of asset management, asset accounting, or financial processes highly preferred.
• Project management experience is a plus but not mandatory.
• Must have eligibility to work in New Zealand.
