Technical Assistant

Job Overview

This role involves maintaining and repairing commercial food preparation and refrigeration equipment to ensure smooth operations and food safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve issues with commercial appliances including fryers, griddles, ovens, toasters, refrigeration, and freezer units.
• Repair and replace defective electrical parts such as motors, switches, control panels, wiring, and lighting.
• Inspect, maintain, and fix mechanical components including pumps, valves, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, along with HVAC units, exhaust hoods, and walk-in coolers to uphold air quality and safety standards.
• Calibrate thermostats, timers, and cooking controls in line with brand protocols and food safety requirements.
• Keep detailed, accurate records of maintenance activities and parts changes using a digital work order system.

Qualifications & Experience

• Educational background in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electro-mechanical Engineering through ITI, Diploma, or Associate Degree programs.
• Proven 3 to 5 years practical experience in facility maintenance especially within commercial kitchens or hospitality industries.

Compensation

Offer includes a monthly salary ranging from 16,000 to 24,000 INR.
