System Administrator

Role overview

TWG Tea Company is looking for a System Administrator to take ownership of day-to-day server and infrastructure support in Singapore. This role focuses on maintaining stable operations, supporting store and site projects, and strengthening overall IT security and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Handle server administration tasks and keep operations running smoothly.
• Oversee firewalls, antivirus protection on endpoints, backup servers, and related infrastructure components.
• Monitor daily server and network batch jobs, track issue logs, and ensure resolutions are documented and followed through.
• Support store openings and renovation initiatives, including IT infrastructure setup, CCTV, biometric access, and related systems.
• Evaluate security patches each month and support the rollout of updates for servers and network appliances.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and routine housekeeping to maintain server and network health.
• Take part in staff training efforts to improve general IT awareness and user capability.
• Create automation scripts and runbooks, and help enforce IT procedures across multiple stakeholders.

Requirements

• A diploma or degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field.
• At least 2 years of practical experience working with Active Directory, scripting, DNS/DHCP, firewalls, Office 365, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, JIRA, Microsoft Planner, Hyper-V, WSUS, antivirus tools, Microsoft SQL, and Oracle SQL servers.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure on Azure or AWS will be considered an advantage.
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and documentation abilities, with a collaborative team-first mindset.
• Willingness to travel when required for project rollouts and implementations.
• Must have fluent English communication skills.
• Ability to speak Mandarin is a plus, as support is provided to North Asia countries.
• This position reports to the IT Manager, Infrastructure.
