About the Role
Join Feedwell in Sydney CBD as a full-time, permanent member of the food production team specializing in sushi-style assembly. This role involves precise, consistent preparation of fresh salads, wraps, sandwiches, and platters in a calm, high-volume kitchen environment with structured processes and clear standards, ensuring food is prepared properly and efficiently without the pressures of front-of-house service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble salads, wraps, sandwiches, and platters with a focus on precision, consistency, and attractive presentation akin to sushi craftsmanship.
- Operate independently at a dedicated station using pre-prepared ingredients to ensure speed and accuracy.
- Adhere strictly to Feedwell’s established systems, receiving proper training to perform the tasks systematically.
- Maintain a fast yet orderly pace to meet production goals without creating chaos.
- Keep workstations meticulously clean, organized, and adhere to food safety standards.
- Gain skills by rotating through various stations as required.

Additional Information
The workplace is located in Millers Point, New South Wales. Applicants with prior experience in sushi making, Japanese takeaway, or similar food assembly roles will find their skills directly applicable. This position is onsite and offers fixed shifts starting at either 1:30 p.m. or 1:30 a.m.
