About CemServ Supply Chain Planner Role
CemServ is on the lookout for a driven Supply Chain Planner to become a vital part of its Supply Chain department. This role focuses on orchestrating demand, supply, and inventory activities to guarantee seamless production processes, readily available materials, and balanced inventory throughout the organization.
Primary Duties
- Create and update demand, supply, and stock plans aligning with business and production needs.
- Keep a close watch on inventory amounts ensuring materials are always available to prevent operational disruptions.
- Collaborate intensively with departments such as Production, Procurement, Warehouse, and Finance to synchronize supply chain tasks and achieve operational goals.
- Evaluate forecasts, consumption patterns, and planning data to enhance forecast precision and planning efficiency.
- Discover ways to optimize inventory quantities, balancing availability against costs.
- Contribute to ongoing improvements of planning workflows and overall supply chain performance.
- Monitor crucial planning indicators and produce frequent reports alongside recommendations for management consideration.
Qualifications & Expertise
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business, or an allied discipline.
- Holding an APICS CPIM or CSCP certification is favorable.
- Have 3 to 6 years of professional experience in supply planning, demand forecasting, or inventory management.
- Experience within sectors like industrial, manufacturing, or similar environments is preferred.
- Proficient in advanced Excel functions and data analysis techniques.
- Solid background in using ERP software systems, with preference for SAP.
- Skilled in managing and optimizing inventory systems.
- Strong analytical aptitude and effective problem resolution capabilities.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills across various teams.
- Capable of working efficiently in a dynamic and fast-moving workplace.
