Supply Chain Manager

Role overview

Zynax Solutions is seeking a strategic and outcome-focused Supply Chain Manager to direct and improve the full supply chain cycle. Based in Australia, this onsite part-time position is suited to someone who can strengthen procurement, inventory control, logistics, demand forecasting, and supplier performance while helping the business operate more efficiently and economically.

In this leadership role, you will work closely with teams across the business to enhance processes, support growth, and build stronger supplier and partner relationships. The position calls for a professional who values supply chain excellence, process improvement, and operational results.

Key responsibilities

• Create and roll out supply chain plans that support business targets and operational priorities.
• Supervise purchasing, stock control, warehousing, logistics, transport, and distribution activities.
• Handle demand planning, forecasting, stock optimisation, and replenishment methods.
• Develop productive relationships with suppliers, vendors, and logistics partners.
• Track supply chain performance through KPIs and lead ongoing improvement efforts.
• Spot supply chain risks early and put measures in place to reduce disruption and protect business continuity.
• Work with procurement, operations, production, finance, sales, and customer service teams to streamline workflows.
• Manage budgets, operating costs, and resource use to improve efficiency.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, quality expectations, and applicable regulatory standards.
• Review operational data, prepare management reports, and share strategic recommendations with senior leadership.
• Guide, coach, and develop supply chain staff while promoting accountability and teamwork.
• Support digital change and process upgrades by using supply chain technologies and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Solid understanding of supply chain management, logistics, procurement, inventory control, and demand planning.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Good analytical thinking, strategic judgement, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven experience managing end-to-end supply chain activities and supplier relationships.
• Comfort using ERP platforms, supply chain software, Microsoft Excel, and business intelligence tools.
• Strong grasp of inventory management, warehouse processes, transport, and distribution operations.
• Experience managing budgets, performance metrics, and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Excellent planning, organisation, and project coordination skills.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
