About the Role
This position focuses on managing global supply chain activities, including procurement and strategic sourcing within the high-tech or electronics manufacturing sector. The candidate will be an integral part of coordinating with Contract Manufacturers, Suppliers, and cross-functional teams to support various supply chain initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with Contract Manufacturers, Suppliers, and internal teams to manage supply chain functions effectively.
- Support strategic sourcing efforts involving costing, negotiation, budgeting, and overall supply chain management.
- Leverage advanced skills in Excel and Google Sheets for thorough data analysis, generating reports, and maintaining data accuracy.
- Manage procurement processes such as quotes, purchase orders, and invoice processing.
- Collaborate closely with partners for NPI (New Product Introduction) and sustaining projects, including conducting supplier and internal meetings, warehouse audits, and inventory counts.
- Execute tasks with efficiency and timeliness under the guidance of a Senior Global Supply Management lead.
Requirements
- Between eight to twelve years of professional experience.
- Minimum of three years in supply chain or procurement roles in global high-tech or electronics manufacturing companies.
- Strong grasp of supply chain fundamentals including Incoterms, lead times, and international trade documentation.
- Expertise in Bill of Materials (multi-level BoM), including costed BoM modeling and reporting, understanding assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, and MVA.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets with advanced knowledge of pivot tables, complex formulas, and data visualization techniques; adept with standard productivity tools such as Google Workspace, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Good to have: knowledge of manufacturing operations, new product introduction projects, global logistics, material management, contract management, and experience with ERP systems such as SAP.
