Role overview

Centra Kilbeggan is seeking a part-time Supervisor to help keep the store running smoothly, efficiently, and to a high standard of customer service. The role is centered on guiding the team, maintaining store standards, and creating a positive shopping experience for customers.

What you’ll be doing

• Lead and support the team on a day-to-day basis while setting a positive example.
• Help keep store operations organised, efficient, and customer-focused.
• Maintain standards across stock rotation, merchandising, and shelf presentation.
• Support the induction, training, and ongoing development of staff members.
• Handle customer queries in a prompt, professional, and policy-compliant manner.
• Promote teamwork, a constructive attitude, and Centra’s values of being Proud, Energetic, Imaginative, and Community-Based.
• Adopt and encourage new initiatives and improved ways of working.

What the employer is looking for

• Previous experience in a customer-facing role, ideally around 2 years, is desirable.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Confidence working in a busy, fast-paced setting with the ability to juggle multiple tasks under pressure.
• Good organisational ability, including delegating work and supporting colleagues effectively.
• Experience supervising and leading a team, with a proven track record of maintaining standards and compliance.

Additional information

This is a weekend supervisor position for Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

The role is based onsite at Centra Kilbeggan in County Offaly, Ireland.

Salary is listed as on application, with an attractive remuneration package mentioned.
