Position Overview

As a Supervisor in our deli department located at 9452 Mill Bay Thrifty in Mill Bay, British Columbia, you will oversee a dynamic team committed to offering customers a diverse array of fresh meal options along with traditional delicatessen meats and cheeses. This role requires a person who enjoys food preparation, providing meal advice, and thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service in a busy deli setting.
• Collaborate with the deli team to prepare appetizing meals and assist customers with meal-related inquiries.
• Maintain compliance with safety and sanitation protocols.
• Manage daily operations to ensure smooth department functioning.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with team members and customers.
• Excellent customer service abilities.
• Knowledge and experience in deli department operations considered a plus.
• Previous retail experience is beneficial.
• Availability to work days, evenings, and weekends.
