Role overview
BAE Systems is seeking a Storeperson to support maritime sustainment operations in Henderson, Western Australia. In this position, you will handle warehouse and logistics tasks in line with company standards and procedures, helping keep stock movement and records accurate and efficient.
What you’ll do
- Use warehouse platforms such as ERP and MRP systems to complete day-to-day inventory and store transactions.
- Carry out receiving, picking, and issuing of stock from the stores area.
- Operate loading, unloading, and delivery-related duties while holding the required high-risk work and heavy vehicle licences.
- Complete stock accuracy checks and carry out assurance inventory checks when required.
Skills and experience needed
This role calls for practical warehousing knowledge, confidence using logistics systems, and the ability to work with a range of internal and external stakeholders. You should be comfortable with computers, adaptable in a busy environment, and ready to contribute with a positive, hands-on approach. Familiarity with tools and systems such as SharePoint, Oracle, Aveva, MILIS, and SAP is beneficial.
Essential and desirable requirements
- Hands-on experience using enterprise resource management tools in warehousing and logistics.
- A current LF high-risk licence is essential.
- A Heavy Rigid truck licence is highly desirable.
- Licensing to perform dogging (DG) is highly desirable.
- Certificate III or above in Warehousing and Logistics is desirable.
- Ability to obtain and keep an NV1 security clearance; candidates who already hold NV1 are strongly preferred.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Comfortable working flexibly with a can-do attitude.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office capability and general computer literacy.

This position requires defence security clearance. Applicants must be Australian citizens and either already hold, or be eligible to obtain and maintain, the necessary clearance.
