Opportunity Overview
Ventia is offering a rewarding full-time permanent position as a Store Service Assistant based in Campbell, ACT. Reporting to the Site Lead, this role is instrumental in managing the storage and distribution of Defence Force clothing to active Defence personnel. It suits individuals who thrive in dynamic environments and can work independently or collaboratively.
Work Hours and Location
- Full-time permanent employment
- Working days: Monday to Friday
- Work hours: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- Workplace: Onsite at Campbell, ACT
Key Duties
- Timely receiving and dispatching of goods
- Managing daily workflow including receiving, scanning, sorting, and shelf organization
- Assisting customers with finding stock and tracking order progress
- Delivering face-to-face customer service at the counter
- Supporting routine stocktaking and maintaining an organized workspace
- Using computer systems to monitor stock quantities and locations
Required Skills and Experience
- Previous experience as a store or warehouse assistant is highly preferred
- Strong customer service abilities and clear communication skills
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- Intermediate proficiency with computers, especially spreadsheets and related software
- Eligible for Defence Security Clearance and must be an Australian citizen
