Role Overview

We are seeking a Stockroom Controller for our Dunboyne, County Meath location. This part-time role reports to the General Manager of Avoca Dunboyne and requires an immediate start. The Stockroom Controller will manage stock control and contribute to the efficient operation of the stockroom.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage stock control utilizing the EPOS system.
• Conduct regular stock counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Perform goods inward and outward processing.
• Keep the stockroom clean, organized, and properly maintained.
• Carry out stock rotation and date checks to ensure product quality.
• Complete additional duties as assigned by management.

Candidate Requirements

• Prior experience working collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
• A background in physically demanding roles is essential.
• Demonstrated excellent punctuality and time management.
• Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with team members.
• Warehouse experience is highly advantageous.
• Familiarity with cycle counting and full stock-taking procedures.
• Knowledge or experience in manual handling is preferred.
• High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining Avoca’s standard of service.
• Experience handling goods inwards and outwards processes.
• Prior exposure to Meridian EPOS software is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided.
